These are mattress sizes. Bed frames are a little bigger, so check Bed Frame Size on each bed for its exact footprint. As a rough guide, leave about 60cm around the bed to walk past and open drawers or an ottoman lid.
Before you choose

Measure your room
Measure the space where the bed will go, then compare it with the Bed Frame Size on the bed you like. Frames are bigger than the mattress, especially with a tall or winged headboard.

Check the way in
Measure doorways, hallways and the turn of the stairs on the way to the bedroom, so delivery goes smoothly.

Think about storage
Ottoman lids and storage drawers need room to open fully, so leave space at the foot end and sides of the bed.

Who's sleeping in it?
If you share with a partner, children or pets, sizing up to a 5ft King or 6ft Super King gives everyone more room.
