Heavenlybeds – Warranty Terms & Conditions
At Heavenlybeds, we take pride in the quality of our UK-manufactured beds, mattresses, divans, and bedroom furniture. This Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Warranty Period
All Heavenlybeds bed frames, divan bases, ottoman beds, and mattresses include a 3 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of delivery, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page or invoice.
The warranty applies only to products purchased directly from www.heavenlybeds.co.uk or an authorised Heavenlybeds retailer.
2. What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal domestic use, including:

Structural failure of the bed frame under normal use

Defective joints, welds, or fixings
-
Broken or defective slats supplied with the product
-
Manufacturing faults in mattress springs or internal support structures
-
Faulty ottoman lift mechanisms caused by manufacturing defects
-
Defects present at the time of manufacture that affect the functionality of the product
If a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, Heavenlybeds may, at its discretion:

repair the product;
-
replace the defective part;
-
provide a replacement product of similar specification; or
-
offer an appropriate partial or full refund where repair or replacement is not possible.
3. What is NOT Covered
The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, improper assembly, or failure to follow the care instructions.
The following are specifically excluded from warranty cover:
Misuse and Abuse

Jumping, standing, or excessive force on the bed or mattress

Using the product for commercial, rental, hotel, hostel, Airbnb, or other non-domestic purposes
-
Overloading the bed beyond its intended weight capacity
-
Using the bed without the correct centre support, slats, or support legs fitted
-
Dragging or dropping the product during movement
-
Damage caused by children using the bed as a trampoline or play equipment
Accidental or External Damage
-
Stains, spills, burns, cuts, tears, pet damage, or liquid damage
-
Water, flood, damp, mould, or mildew damage
-
Damage caused by insects, rodents, or other pests
-
Damage caused by fire, smoke, chemicals, or cleaning products
-
Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery, including scratches, dents, scuffs, or fabric pulls
Improper Assembly or Alteration
-
Incorrect self-assembly
-
Missing or incorrectly fitted bolts, brackets, or support components
-
Modifications, repairs, or alterations carried out by anyone other than Heavenlybeds or its authorised service partners
-
Use of non-original replacement parts
Mattress-Specific Exclusions
The following are not considered manufacturing defects:

Normal softening of foam or upholstery over time
-
Body impressions of up to 3 cm (approximately 1.2 inches) where there is no underlying structural defect
-
Comfort preference issues (for example, the mattress feels too soft or too firm)
-
Failure to rotate or turn the mattress in accordance with the care instructions
-
Use of an unsuitable or inadequate bed base
-
Staining or soiling of the mattress, which will void the warranty
4. Customer Care Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, you must:

Assemble the product according to the instructions provided.

Check and tighten fixings periodically.
-
Use the mattress on a suitable supportive base.
-
Rotate or turn the mattress as recommended.
-
Keep the product clean and dry.
-
Use a mattress protector to help prevent stains and spills.
Failure to follow these care requirements may invalidate the warranty.
5. Reporting a Warranty Claim
Any suspected defect should be reported as soon as reasonably possible after it is discovered.

Heavenlybeds may request additional photographs or arrange an inspection before approving a claim.
6. Inspection and Assessment
All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Heavenlybeds.
If inspection shows that the issue is due to misuse, accidental damage, improper assembly, inadequate support, staining, or normal wear and tear, the claim will be rejected and any collection, inspection, or repair costs may be charged to the customer.
7. Normal Wear and Tear
This warranty does not cover the natural ageing of materials, including:

Fabric flattening or creasing
-
Minor settling of upholstery fillings
-
Slight colour fading from sunlight or environmental exposure
-
General wear consistent with ordinary domestic use over time
These are considered normal characteristics of upholstered furniture and mattresses.
8. Limitation of Liability
Heavenlybeds’ liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product.
We are not responsible for:

indirect or consequential losses,
-
loss of use,
-
inconvenience,
-
alternative accommodation costs,
-
or damage to other property arising from the use or inability to use the product.
9. Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
10. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Warranty Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Important Notice
The Heavenlybeds warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Any damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidental damage, improper assembly, staining, liquid spills, inadequate support, or failure to follow the product care instructions is expressly excluded and will not be covered under this warranty.
